Coffee Shops

The Tim Horton’s and the café in Botterell may be a great way to start your mornings with its coffee that contains enough caffeine to keep you awake during lectures, but if you’re looking for an extra boost to meet your endless caffeine needs, try one of these specialty coffee shops:

Crave

A QMed favourite - located in the heart of Kingston, Crave makes great coffee and even better baked goods. They are famous for their cinnamon buns and cozy atmosphere for studying!

Coffee & Company · 53 Princess Street

Located downtown, Coffee & Company makes great coffee with the added bonus of free wireless internet and comfy seating.

Common Ground · Queen’s Centre

Carrying most of the traditional coffee offerings, Common Ground has great lunch and breakfast options. It’s a great place for lunch when you want something healthier.

Sipps Coffee and Dessert Bar · 33 Brock Street

Sipps is yet another great café. Conveniently located downtown, it’s a brilliant place for coffee, dessert and random conversations. Dessert is a little pricy, though. Bring your laptop and study there!

Starbucks · 95 Princess Street / 121 Division Street / 259 Princess Street

With three locations downtown and just north of campus, Starbucks is a student favourite. Great atmosphere, over roasted coffee! Wireless internet available.
