Some running themes among the technology we have come to love point out the value in technology when it simplifies our tasks. Medtech was repeatedly named as an essential part of our education because it is so convenient to check just the one site. We also prefer email to other forms of communication because it means we only have to keep track of one inbox. In our hectic schedule, just as in yours, efficiency is much appreciated!

As an add-on to that, it is important to have a good purpose for using technology over more traditional modalities, because in the end we still prefer face-to-face interactions, so technology should only be used to enhance that experience, or substitute it where physical limitations stand. We do get frustrated easily when we feel that the addition of new technology has not enhanced our learning at the expense of time wasted in getting used to new tools.
