MEdTech Communities

 
Medtech communities are online discussion forums built into the Medtech website. They are especially useful for students to post questions regarding specific topics because the instructor has time to think of a detailed answer, does not have to answer the same questions repeatedly, and they become a great resource that students can refer back to later. It is just important to keep in mind that these community discussions should be set up with a topic that lends itself well to online forums, and not simply be used for the sake of using technology. Medical students see each other every day and to force us to use online forums when we can enjoy a better discussion in person seems backwards and unnecessary.
