- You may come to the NICU anytime, day or night, to spend time with your baby.
- Quiet times in the NICU are from 12:30-1:30 PM and 5:30-6:30 PM
- We encourage periods of quiet time as research has shown that this helps with brain growth and development
-
Physical connection helps your baby bond and connect with you. This is why we will encourage you to touch and hold your baby as soon as possible.
-
When your baby is ready, a nurse will show you how to feed, touch, clean, and help care for you baby as they develop.
- There are some great resources that the social worker can connect you with. For example, Almost Home provides a place to stay near the hospital for parents
