Here are three versions of the Patient Safety site made using 3 different software packages.
- Dreamweaver version (pretty, you need to own the software or know html, probably the hardest for non-techies to edit/maintain)
- Soft Chalk (software cost around $400 or $99 as a student, it's easy to use; a bit ugly and hard to navigate I think)
- eXe (I like this one and the program is freely available if you click here)
Here are some modules already in use that we may want to edit/revise/add to for the purpose of this project. They need to be imported into another software package as the one they were made in is no longer available to us (Thinking Cap, it was a pain, anyway). Does anyone have any other pre-existing material we could use as a base for development? I see these as part of the "tool box" Catherine originally envisioned as we wrote the grant (so "outside" but related to the actual cases)
- Team Work
- Medication Safety
- Patient Safety (we do have Articulate, the package this was made in)
- Breaking Bad News (made by Dr. Linda O'Connor)
