Nadia (age 19) was born in Bigtown (pop. 125 000) where she grew up with her parents, Alberto and Kimberly, and brother Brendan (age 16). Alberto works in automotive sales, however his dealership is about to be closed by the parent company. Kimberly works as an educational assistant in the public school sytem.

Nadia currently lives in Middleville, 75 km to the west, where she attends college. She contributes to her tuition and living expenses from the income she earns at a part time food services job. She loves animals, particularly horses, and hopes to work in a rural veterinary practice some day. While in high school, she was an accomplished athlete who participated in the cross-country and soccer teams.
