Learning Together with Cases is powered by Entrada, an integrated teaching and learning system initially developed to meet the needs of the Queen's medical education curriculum.  In 2008, the MEdTech Unit partnered with the University of Calgary to create a distributable open-source version of this software. Developers and eLearning professionals from both schools work together to suggest and triage development items; program, develop & deploy new items; maintain a common repository of source code; and manage the Entrada Project website. The Learning Together with Cases project has allowed the addition of multi-organization support to Entrada, facilitating the temporal and geographic challenges often associated with Interprofessional Education.

This resources that we have created have been designed to maximize flexibility and to permit use in a variety of different curricular formats and types. While learning activities and assessment methods related to the cases are proposed, teachers may choose to use the case material in a fashion suitable to their particular educational situation.
