pain
apprehension of falling: may reduce overall mobility as a result, which should be discouraged.
loss of function
possible complications of her frature (carpal tunnel, etc)

She may have difficulty with some activites of daily living (i.e. buttoning clothes, cleaning, etc.), and modifications or suggestions for how to deal with the cast should be made.
