bone fragility, possibly due to decreased bone density, or osteoporosis. Other malignancies should be ruled out (i.e. cancer)

Maybe we should tie this into the discussion of osteoporosis - the fact that her bone broke, and the nature of the fracture suggests weakening.  We could also discuss the composition of bone, etc.
