• The first part of this module will provide students with an overall view of paediatric physiotherapy. We will review the ICF and the principles of family-centred care (FCC). A case scenario will be used to practice using the ICF and FCC.

At the end of this learning module, students will be able to:

• Demonstrate knowledge of the terms of the ICF
• Use the ICF to relate impairments in body function and structure to activity limitations and participation restrictions
• Apply the values of family-centred care in identifying intervention goals for a child with cerebral palsy
