1. Discuss Brian’s Law (Bill 68). Compare mental health legislation in one other province. What are the similarities and differences between provinces?

2. Describe a community treatment order. Discuss the implications of a community treatment order in the life of an adult experiencing mental illness.

3. Compare and contrast the similarities and differences between the perspectives of mental health consumers and professionals that are evident throughout this module.

4. Consider the perspectives of various professionals who might work with an adult with mental illness (nurses, OT, physicians, social workers, etc.). How do the nature of these professions determine the perspective of their members?
