Clinical Evidence

1. In the COPD disease monograph, let's find examples of rating the level of evidence and linking to another EBM resource - Clinical Evidence.

2. While remaining in the BMJ Point of Care resource make certain that you are viewing the COPD disease monograph.

4. Scroll down the page until you see notations such as A Evidence and B Evidence. Note there is C Evidence category but not on this page. When you click on these A, B or C Evidence links, you are provided with more details about the results of the study and about the level of evidence.

Task 3

Read the Clinical Evidence review about COPD. In the Non-drug interventions section, specifically the Pulmonary rehabilitation section, are any harms reported?

Next scroll up to the top of the screen and click on the Interventions tab to view the full record. In the Clinical Evidence COPD review, how many clinical questions are addressed?

Bring the answer to both these questions to class.
