Zoomlympics (3:00 - 5:00 PM)

- Penny Oleksiak, Canada’s most decorated Zoomlympian

“Drawing a “Z” on Strava to spell out the word ‘ZOOM’ helped my team earn 100 points during the 2020 Tokyo Zoomlympics. I will never forget the thrill of running down Princess Street to spell the “Z” in 9.89 seconds.”

- Andre De Grasse, anchor of Canada’s 4x100m Zoomlympics team

Your class will be split into 4 teams as you complete tasks to earn points for your team. Zoom in from home to join this event! While title of gold medal Zoomlympian is the most coveted prize of all, the winning team will also receive EXCLUSIVE Queen’s School of Medicine baseball hats!

Fun fact: these hats were so sought after last year that members of losing teams asked for extras… which there were not!

Meet up with your team on a video call or however else you see fit, and join the class-wide trivia on Zoom!

Keen and want to prep early? Questions may or may not focus on medicine in pop culture (especially television shows) as well as general media and culture. One more thing: it may help to have a human Shazam in your group…

There will be prizes on the line!
