Whether you still believe that basketballs are shot into peach baskets or you're the next up-and-coming Michael Jordan, Queen's offers a variety of programs that suit athletes of all abilities. The intramural programs are a great way to let loose and bond with classmates. Queen's has innertube waterpolo, soccer, hockey, ultimate firsbee, basketball, volleyball, and many more intramurals.

There is also the annual AS Basketball Tournament, where all four years challenge each other for the title of basketball champs. In addition, there is the pre-clerk cup, where the first and second year classes face off in a series of different sports throughout the year.

Our new sports facility, called the Athletics and Recreation Center (ARC) was completed in December, 2009. Everything is brand new, from the weights to the gym floor. Each of our treadmills and ellipticals are equipped with individual TVs, USB ports, and iPod adapters, so you can exercise like a King/Queen.

For all the outdoor runners, there are plenty of jogging routes in Kingston, with the most popular being along Lake Ontario.

In addition, with your OMA (Ontario Medical Association) discount, you get a great deal on a Goodlife gym membership!
