Introduction

Aim:

Students will gain foundational knowledge in the types of data, measures of central tendency, and measures of variation of a data set.

Objectives:

Student will be able to:

  1. Understand what a variable is, and define the different types of variables.
  2. Understand the different types of data and the ways in which data can be described.
  3. Understand Standard Deviation and the 95 percent confidence interval.
