Injuries to the pediatric elbow are commonly encountered in the Emergency Department (ED). Unfortunately, because of the complexity of the anatomy of the developing elbow, these injuries can be easily missed on the ED radiograph. Detection of injuries requires a careful and systematic approach to the radiographs.
