- Anal discharge/prolapse
- Palpable mass on DRE
- Retrieval of foreign body
- Evaluation of anal trauma
- Evaluation of fecal impaction
- Evaluation of intra-anal condyloma
- Treatment of prolapsing hemorrhoids by rubber band ligation (using a slotted anoscope)
